BLINDO PLUS represents a new concept of base coat. It was formulated to meet the needs of professionals who require high performance in terms of protection combined with a high curing speed: in fact the closing time occurs in a few minutes even without the use of UV lamps and at low temperatures.

BLINDO PLUS REPRESENTS A NEW CONCEPT OF BASE COAT

It was formulated to meet the needs of professionals who require high performance in terms of protection combined with a high curing speed: in fact the closing time occurs in a few minutes even without the use of UV lamps and at low temperatures. Its innovative formula based on a complex high molecular weight resin creates a thick and extremely hard barrier.

BLINDO PLUS once in contact with the bodywork, it creates a rapid bond with the surface (nano-link) which, combined with the new technologyS.F.C. (Self Fast Curing™), allows ultra-fast polymerization and a closing time of just 70 minutes. BLINDO PLUS leaves a finish with a glassy gloss effect similar to that ofcandies. BLINDO PLUS is not sold individually.

Safety: it is PFAS free and compliant with the content of volatile organic components (VOC) according to Directive 2004/42/EC and with the analysis method compliant with UNI EN ISO 11890-1 :2008.

The #Labocosmetica coatings were subjected to various stress tests first in the laboratory and then directly in the field thanks also to the collaboration of several international detailers.

We have selected the cities with some of the most extreme climatic conditions in the world: Dubai (United Arab Emirates) for the scorching heat and its sandstorms, Delhi (India) and Manila (Philippines) for the suffocating smog and tropical heat, Moscow (Russia) and Gothenburg (Sweden) due to the harsh cold and road conditions, in addition to the major European capitals where the climatic and road conditions are certainly more normal.

It should be noted that for the entire duration of the tests it was not always possible to respect the coating maintenance program recommended by us.

This allowed us to verify the conditions of the treated surface in the worst situation.

With the results of the numerous tests we have made a weighted average which shows that one year of life of our coatings is equal to approximately 15,000 km.

Based on this data we can therefore state that:

APPLICATION TIPS

Always apply the coating in covered and dust-free environments, never outdoors. We recommend the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), in this case the solvent vapor mask. Never work in direct sunlight. Make sure your work area is well ventilated. There are two main factors that influence the application of coatings: temperature and humidity. The higher the temperature and/or humidity, the shorter the coating installation time. We recommend working on small sections of maximum 50x50cm. It is essential to use correct lighting. Apply the coating using reflected lights. Point your lamp at the wall or ceiling – this will help you spot possible smudges which you will need to eliminate immediately. The initial fixing time of the #BLINDO PLUS andHPC coatings by #Labocosmetica with the treated surface is just a few minutes: therefore use microfibre cloths to eliminate residues and carry out finishing. Make sure that the car remains in optimal conditions without the risk of rain or sudden changes in humidity: the curing time necessary to allow partial closure of the coating occurs within 12 hours, while total closure occurs within 36 hours and it is advisable not wash the car for the first 7/10 days. If you have an infrared lamp, position it at a distance of 50cm for approximately 15-20 minutes at a temperature of 60°C to fix the coating to the surface. Always respect the application instructions of the individual products.

SILK-MIRROR EFFECT

The #LABOCOSMETICA® system gives the treated surfaces a unique silk-mirror effect. The surfaces are so smooth that dirt no longer has a way to adhere: this is the Lotus effect system.

SUPERIOR PROTECTION

Accurate preparation of the surface to be treated is essential for the correct fixing and maintenance of the coating. We recommend always observing these simple rules: – the surface must be decontaminated and free from any residue; remove old waxes, sealants or coatings from the surface before proceeding; – the surface must be perfectly free from superficial scratches , marks and stains which, if present, must be removed with a polisher; li> – if you are working with a new car that does not require corrective interventions on the paint, proceed with a decontaminating wash to remove possible residues due to transport; – the bodywork must be completely degreased: use VÈRITAS in a 1:5 dilution before applying the coating. This step is mandatory!
